We’re so excited to welcome Demonstration Chef John Crouch to the hub for a special Taste of India evening — a relaxed and flavour-filled night of delicious food, cooking tips, and stories from his travels.
John swapped a career in fashion advertising (yes, he worked for Vogue Magazine in London!) to follow his passion for food. He’s now a much-loved demonstration chef based here in Cumbria, with over 30 years’ experience teaching, cooking and entertaining audiences all over the UK — and beyond!
He’s a regular visitor to India, where he’s shared his love of Cumbrian cooking at food festivals in Mumbai, hosted cookery events across Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad, and taught at hospitality colleges in Goa and Tamil Nadu.
John’s demonstrations are full of flavour, fun and fascinating facts — you’ll leave with new ideas, tasty recipes, and a happy heart (and stomach!).
