How it works

Paint-a-Pot Fun: Choose from a wide selection of pottery pieces, including figurines, trinket boxes, money boxes and seasonal items. All materials are provided, from brushes to a rainbow of paints*. Prices start at just £4.

Snacks and Refreshments: Enjoy a selection of drinks and snacks to keep you refreshed while you paint.

Workshops and Events: Join us for guided painting workshops, kids' birthday parties, hen parties, work team building & connection evening, or themed events like holiday crafts and pottery nights.

Take Home or Leave for Varnish: Paint your piece to take home the same day or leave it with us to be varnished and dried ready to pick up in a day or two.

*Prices include 6 colours. Extra colours can be purchased at an additional cost. Varnish will be applied at an additional cost. We will contact you when your items are ready to collect, usually around 3-4 days (may be longer at busy times).

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking is recommended, especially during busy times, but we do welcome walk-ins when space allows. Give us a call or pop in to check availability!

It’s simple! Choose a piece of pottery, pick your colours, and start painting. Once you’re done, you can take it home the same day or opt for a varnish finish for extra shine and protection.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on the item you choose, but every penny goes back into CommuniTea to support local services and activities.

Do you glaze or fire the pottery?

No, we don’t glaze or fire the pottery. However, we offer a varnish coating at an additional cost to give your piece a glossy finish and extra durability.

Is the pottery food-safe or washable?

No, our pottery is designed as decorative ornaments for indoor use only. It is not food-safe or suitable for washing.

Is it suitable for children?

Absolutely! Painting pottery is great fun for all ages, from little ones to adults. It’s a perfect activity for families, school holidays, and special occasions.

Can I host a party or group event?

Yes! We love hosting birthday parties, team-building events, hen dos, and more. Get in touch to discuss your plans.
