This discount applies to all standard food and drink items on the menu at The New Spotted Cow when ordered and paid for by the member. It cannot be applied to alcohol, takeaway orders, already discounted items, or special promotions unless stated otherwise. Discount must be applied at the point of purchase and cannot be added retrospectively.
10% off paid CommuniTea activities & events
Applies to any activity, class, or event organised by CommuniTea where a ticket or fee is payable. This includes workshops, social evenings, and special themed nights. The discount does not apply to third-party events hosted at our venue unless explicitly stated. Discount is applied per member and per ticket.
A say in shaping what we do
Members will be invited to share feedback and suggestions on CommuniTea’s activities, events, and services via surveys, meetings, or suggestion forms. While we will take all feedback into account, final decisions on programming and operations remain with CommuniTea’s management.
Early access to event bookings
Members will have access to event ticket sales before they are released to the general public, typically 48 hours in advance, subject to event scheduling. Early access does not guarantee ticket availability and bookings remain first-come, first-served.
Monthly prize draw for members
All current members will be automatically entered into a monthly prize draw. Winners will be selected at random and contacted directly. Prizes must be collected within the specified time frame and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items.
Members-only social events
Members will be invited to exclusive gatherings such as socials, networking evenings, and members’ nights. Dates and activities will be announced in advance. These events may require booking or a nominal fee to cover costs.
Exclusive newsletter & updates
Members will receive regular updates via email or printed newsletter containing upcoming events, offers, and behind-the-scenes news. Members can opt out of communications at any time without affecting their membership.
Your name on our Wall of Supporters
As a thank you for supporting your hub, your name will be displayed on our Wall of Supporters within the venue. If you do not wish your name to be displayed, please let us know in writing.
Free deluxe brew every 5 visits
At The CommuniTea Hub only, (not The New Spotted Cow) with the purchase of any hot drink. Visits must be stamped on one of the CommuniTea loyalty cards, with a maximum of one visit mark per day. One mark is given per visit, not per drink. On your fifth qualifying visit, you can claim one free deluxe brew (e.g., speciality tea, coffee, or hot chocolate). This free drink cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or redeemed at The New Spotted Cow. Multiple cards will not be accepted, stamps cannot be transferred or offered after the visit day.

By being a member, you are directly contributing to the running and sustainability of CommuniTea, helping us to provide activities, events, and support for the community. While this is not a financial “benefit” in the traditional sense, it is part of the membership’s ethos and spirit.
